Of course our Martial Arts Program teaches kids great self-defense and combat skills. Many of our students win gold, silver and bronze medals every year at one of the State's largest and most competitive tournaments.

But these skills are never regarded as more important than the cultivation and improvement of one's character. And we teach our students never to use or display their skills unnecessarily.

There are over 6000 Sq. ft. training areas, Study Room and a 7 Network Computer Lab.

A Structured Learning Environment

If you've ever walked into other after-school programs and felt like "the lunatics were running the asylum", you'll be very pleased when you visit The Tigers Black Belt Academy. Unlike with many other programs, at The Tigers Black Belt Academy your child is always supervised and required to follow a strict code of behavior with a clear purpose: Successful learning and character development.

Our entire program is carefully planned out and structured so that you can see how step-by-step your child will gain improved self-esteem, behavior, confidence, focus, manners, leadership skills and self-discipline.

Fun Daily Activities. Each day your child will participate in:

• An intensive Martial Arts class, separated by age group and level of experience to ensure your child's optimal progress
• An engaging Life Skills Lesson focusing on Personal Success (covering everything from Time Management to Dealing With Bullies and Strangers)
• Reading and Study time
• Invigorating Exercise and Play time where children are carefully supervised.

Weekly and Monthly Lessons. Your child will receive Character Building Take-Home lessons that encourage your active parental involvement in your child's development. Lesson topics include:

• Random Acts of Kindness

Why our School Martial Arts Program may not be for everyone

We may not be the kind of After-School Program you are looking for. We're not a babysitting service, nor are we a day care center.
If you're looking for a casual, unstructured, or temporary program we certainly aren't right for you. If you are looking for the cheapest service rather than a top-quality service at a great value, we are probably not the cheapest.

But if you like the idea of a structured martial arts program that concentrates on developing children who are growing stronger mentally, physically and spiritually - and who are acquiring the Black Belt Attitude of Excellence - then we may very well be the ideal program for you.

Hours, tuition, and other details

Eligible Students: Boys and girls in kindergarten through 8th grade. This exclusive program is limited to 12 children. Returning children from last year who are in good standing will automatically have a space reserved.

Hours: The Before-School Program runs from 7:00 AM.
         The After-School Martial Arts Program runs from 2:30pm (or whatever time the school bus drops off your child) until parent pick-up no later than 6:30pm.
Teacher work days and Winter and Spring vacations are all included at no extra charge.

Tuition: The monthly tuition payment includes Martial Arts Training, supervised Homework and Reading time, and all additional structured activities.

Tuition: $99⁹⁹/Week - After School Program Only
                $115⁰⁰/Week  - Before & After School Program
                                (Family discounts are available.)

Initial Fee (Paid with first month's tuition): $159 includes a complete martial arts uniform

Belt Promotion Tests: The Tae Kwon Do requirements are divided into eight different belt levels and each belt is divided into two different stripe levels to encourage a sense of accomplishment. Belt promotion tests are held every two month and cost an additional $40

Program Duration: Registration is for the entire academic school year, or if enrolling any time during the school year then duration is for the remainder of the school year.

You should apply before the start of the school year for the best chance of an opening being available. You can apply during the year in the event any spaces should open up due to children moving, etc.

Tigers Black Belt's After School Martial Arts Program accepts children of good character who want to have fun and enjoy martial arts - and who have strong family support for our program. Parent and family support for the push towards Black Belt Excellence is essential for children to excel in our program.

We accept students with or without previous martial arts experience. We do not discriminate based on race, religion or other similar factors.

After reviewing your Mail, our staff will contact you and advise you of preliminary acceptance or denial. If you receive preliminary acceptance then you and your child will be invited to come in for a Free Introductory Admissions and Enrollment Tour.

The Introductory Admissions and Enrollment Tour includes a short martial arts class for your child. The class allows you to see first-hand the benefits of the program and how we instruct, and allows our instructors to evaluate your child as to whether he or she is ready to enroll in our program, and to make the final decision on acceptance into the program.

We will answer any and all additional questions you may have about our program at your Introductory Admissions and Enrollment Tour.

Confirmation of your tour date, time, driving directions, etc. will be provided when we notify you whether your application has received preliminary approval.

Space Is Limited To 15 Children So Apply Now.

Because there is more demand than space available at our school we must be selective in who we admit. Please fill out the Application Form thoughtfully and completely for the best chance at preliminary acceptance. If no spaces remain available, you may be invited to join our waiting list.
